As a member of the Madison community, we know how important it is to support our small businesses, local events and charities.

In this week's blog, we want to share 5 things to do in Madison, WI this weekend!

1. Live on King - Margo Price

SEPTEMBER 15

"Live on King is making its way back to the 100 block of Martin Luther King Blvd for another season of free live music. LOK features local and national touring artists over the course of five Friday nights in the summer. And this year, bring the whole family with the addition of our Live on Kid’s corner, featuring food, face painting, balloon twisting, and other activities for the youngsters from 6-8PM.  Can’t wait to see you downtown again for some cold beer, delicious eats, great views and incredible live music."

2. Willy Street Fair

SEPTEMBER 16 - 17

"The 2023 Willy Street Fair: Sept. 16th & 17th
800, 900 & 1000 blocks of Willy St. on Madison's Isthmus!"

2. Puptoberfest

SEPTEMBER 17

"Come enjoy a day for the dogs at Wisconsin Brewing in Verona & help support OccuPaws Guide Dogs. FREE Admission to this dog friendly event! Social and leashed dogs are very welcome. Live Music from the Red Hot Horn Dawgs! Bring the whole family, both canine and human! Microchipping and nail trims for the canines and a fun vendor area where you can find great items for both yourself and your favorite furry friends. But don't worry if you don't have a dog, there will be something for everyone. An amazing lunch will be available and of course great beer from Wisconsin Brewing!"

4. 414 Flea on the Road

SEPTEMBER 17

"On September 17th there will be 30+ small businesses coming together from across the Midwest to bring you their best curated vintage clothing and home goods collections. You can also find handmade jewelry, original artwork, and so much more all at one convenient location - The Sylvee! We will be offering an early bird rush hour from 11AM - 12PM that is $15 if you order ahead or $20 day of. And of course the event will be FREE from 12PM – 5PM!"

4. Deerfield Applefest

SEPTEMBER 17

"From crafters to farmers, we have over 200 different vendors selling their products, each one different from the next. Our flea market and farmer's market offer spaces both inside and outside for vendors to set up. Taking advantage of all that Wisconsin falls have to offer, we'll be offering fresh apple products right from our orchard on the farm including apple cider, apple cider donuts, apple butter, and hard apple cider. Stop out to pick some of these goodies up, you won't want to miss them!"
